Bubble is a Lumizome, a combination of lumi for light and zome for the form, hand made in France. It is made up of 20 facets, all carved and perforated in wood from our regions.

The particular arrangement which structures the geometry of the zome takes up the universal framework of the winding, twist which is found everywhere in nature, as well in the mineral, vegetable, as animal worlds. Indeed, the spiral shape resonates all around us whether in the pine cone, in a swarm of bees, in DNA, in buds, in the galaxy etc.

Bubble is a work on the concept of emergence which is roughly summed up by the adage:
« the whole is more than the sum of its parts ».
this concept leads to consider a plural and moving world, which obviously goes against a philosophy supposing a fixed world made up of a single substance or two in the Cartesian way.
Starting from simple wooden diamond with different holes, made randomly, which once assembled will form an object where we can see a movement appear between the different holes.
